A very big "thank you" to everyone who came to our Wine Party events, on Friday and Saturday! Some students gave us delicious home-made cake and brought cookies and popcorn and chocolates… Amazing! (Maybe the Wine Quiz was a little difficult… Sorry about that! But I hope that everyone could learn something about wine..)
During the Wine Party, we watched a scene from the film "Sideways", an American film (from 2005) about two guys in California who enjoy drinking wine. They especially like Pinot Noir; but they don't like Merlot wine.. The sales of Merlot wine went down after the film became popular..
At our party, we were drinking Bordeaux (Cabernet Sauvignon), and a Pinot Noir from England, called Chapel Down (Union Red)..
